Deb and I brought Tango to the house for the first time this week. He wants to invite all of his four-legged friends to visit the mountains. He has been hiking, deer hunting, squirrel chasing, and even spent some time off his leash outside. He loves the fire pit as well.

We got an update from the landscape yesterday evening. The pictures are with a thousand words.
We have a whole lot of action going on right now. Both inside and out. The rough ins are done. The drywall is going up and we have siding and trim on site. The installation of the siding should be starting soon. The porches are coming along as well. Mountain Days is really starting to look like a home. It will be very exciting for us to see the house this weekend.
A quick update from yesterday. The shingles are on, meaning we have a roof. The mechanical rough in is nearly complete, including the plumbing, HVAC, and electrical. We did a video walk through with Brian from Brown Haven Homes yesterday. The house is really coming together. The windows are on site and their installation starts today.
Big changes are coming fast to Mountain Days. The garage floor was poured this past week. The gutter drains are in and the mulching has been done. The first lumber is on site and the framing is set to start this week. The framing is an exciting time. The bones of the house are going to go together really fast.
Welcome to Mountain Days. We are building a new house in the Arbor at Lake James in Nebo NC. The house will be available for vacation rental starting in the fall of 2021. Mountain Days will be a luxurious three-bedroom three full bathroom single-story house. The master suite will be equipped with an accessible bathroom. Complete with a curbless shower, with grab handles and a bench. The large open floorplan will expansive views through the wall of windows at the rear of the house. Truly built for entertaining it features a vaulted great room with an eight-foot Island that forms the heart of the kitchen.
